2010: Construction Phase II+III:

Rostock, Visby, Hamburg and Bruges

Once visitors walk through the Holstentor in the 2010 season, they will find themselves in a completely different world - romantic and exciting, fascinating and full of fantasy; a world that revives the myth of the HANSEATIC LEAGUE in EUROPE.

For the 2010 season, North Germany’s family park No. 1 has added not one but two construction phases to its unique theme world. In the first construction phase, the largest replica of Lübeck’s world-famous city gate - the Holstentor - has been completed and we are now building the venerable Hanseatic City of Rostock, Sweden’s Visby, the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and historical Bruges.

The quality of the buildings, like that of the Holstentor, is exemplary. Over 14 imposing buildings and facades of these cities, built exactly like the original with an extraordinary passion for detail using original materials in real stone, wood and plaster combined with the best traditional craftsmanship.
