How can I upgrade my day ticket to a season ticket?

Answer

The amount you paid for today’s entrance ticket (applies to valid HANSA-PARK entrance tickets) will be offset against the season ticket price of € 70,-1 / 85,-.
For instance, if your day ticket cost you € 37.50, you will pay only € 32.501 / € 47.50 for the season ticket.

Why do I need to pay for a day ticket? I told the staff at the box office I wanted to buy a season ticket?

Answer

Our Park Rules state that every guest visiting the Park must hold a valid admission ticket. But don’t worry - the price you paid for the day ticket will be deducted from the season ticket price. There will be no extra costs for you. 

Where can I buy a season ticket?

Answer

During the season you can buy season tickets at the ConferenceCenter "Hanse" (CCH).

Throughout the off-season you can get your season ticket from our Service Center. The Center is open Monday to Friday, 10 am to 5 pm (closed from 23 December 2017 to 14 January 2018).

You can also buy your season tickets online.

Why do season tickets for 4- to 6-year-old children cost the same as adult season tickets?

Answer

The price of our season ticket has been computed based on the reduced day ticket price for children up to 14 years. If this weren’t the case, visitors aged 15 years would need to pay a lot more for a season ticket. As we wanted to avoid complicated pricing schedules we decided to offer a uniform season ticket price of € 70,- / € 85,- ¹ for all.

Why can I not enter the Park without a season ticket?

Answer

The season ticket is your personal entrance ticket that allows you to jump the queues, go straight to the entrance control and start having fun at the Park right away. If you have lost or forgotten your season ticket, go to our Service Centre located to the right of the Holstentor. Our staff will be pleased to help you.

Must I purchase the season ticket online or can I also buy it at the Park?

Answer

If the season hasn’t started yet, you can either buy the season ticket online or visit our Service Centre by the main entrance, which is open Monday to Friday, 10 am to 5 pm. (Closed from 23 December 2017 until 14 January 2018)
You can either pay cash, by direct debit (EC) card or by credit card (MasterCard, Visa card).

I want to give away a season ticket. Can I get it without providing a photograph?

Yes, you can. You need to purchase a gift card. There are several motives available to choose from.

I bought season tickets/gift cards. How will you send them to me?

Answer

Your season tickets will be sent to you by registered mail if we already have photos stored in our system, i.e. no new ones need to be taken. Gift cards will be sent to you by registered mail once we have received your payment.

Can I enter the Park with the season ticket gift card or must I first buy a day ticket?

Answer

Please go to our Information Point outside the Park located next to the group box offices. An employee at the Service Centre will be pleased to let you enter HANSA-PARK with your season ticket gift card. You do not need to buy a day ticket.

Can I purchase a season ticket gift card at the pre-season special rate and redeem the card at a later time?

Answer

There is a note on the season ticket gift card stating the season the gift card and/or season ticket is valid in. You can exchange your gift card for your personal season ticket at the Park’s Service Centre on all of our normal opening days in the season. In the off-season the Centre is open Mon - Fri from 10 am to 5 pm. (Closed from 23 December 2017 - 14 January 2018)

We will take a photo of you here at the Park, scan it and use it to issue your personal season ticket.

I am a new customer / season ticket holder. Why can you not issue my season ticket now?

Answer

That only happens when we have no digital photo of you on file. You will always get a confirmation right after you have bought the season ticket. We will immediately issue your season ticket if a photo of you is in our database. If we don’t have photo of you on file, we can send you a gift card which you can redeem here at the Park. When you first visit the Park, we will take a photo and immediately print out your season ticket.

Why can I not use the passport photo I brought along?

Answer

To issue your ticket quickly, we need to take a photo of you and store it in our database. If we used the passport photo you brought along, we would need to digitise it and, if required, touch it up. You and other guests would have to wait longer. To avoid that, we take the photo for your ID season ticket.

My child had a season ticket last year. Why do you need to take a new photo of my child?

Answer

Children change quickly within the space of one year. To prevent abuse a child’s photo must be replaced and a new season ticket issued at least every 3 years. We reserve the right to ask you to provide a new photo at shorter intervals.

I have been holding a season ticket for 5 years. Do I get any additional discount?

Answer

We are very happy to hear that you have been a loyal guest for so many years now. If bought prior to the start of the Park season, our season ticket costs just € 70. The special price is available to all guests and is extremely good value, especially in view of the new attractions the Park adds every year. We hope that you understand that we cannot reduce the price further.

Why do I not get the bonus reward for a season ticket referral right away?

Answer

You don’t receive the bonus reward right away because the friends you recommended must first be captured as season ticket holders and actually pay for the ticket. You will then receive your bonus reward in the form of shopping vouchers - which by the way are transferrable - after we have received payment from the friends who bought a season ticket upon your referral.

Why do you not offer any family season tickets or discounted season tickets for children or senior citizens?

Answer

This is a valid question. However please note that you have already received a discount. When we computed the price of our season ticket, we based on the reduced day ticket price for children and applied it to adults - a kind of one-price-for-all - who now enjoy a low season ticket price too. Actually, a season ticket for adults should cost a lot more.

How does the "holders of 2016 season tickets refer a friend" programme work? Where can I get the referral form?

Answer

As the holder of a paid-for 2017 and a paid-for 2018 season ticket you can recommend a friend. We will reward each successful referral with two shopping vouchers of € 5 each.
Simply use the Referral Form available in the area reserved for season ticket holders at my.hansapark.de.

Note that your referral must not have been a season ticket holder in 2017. Some of our guests asked us when they would get the shopping vouchers. We will send them out after the friend you referred has paid for his/her season ticket. A note to all new customers who have been recommended: You will not be sent any invoice or request for payment. Please pay your new season ticket prior to the start of the Park season to enjoy the special season ticket price of € 70.

Will you replace the season ticket gift card if I lose it?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot replace a gift card as it is impossible to check whether someone else uses it.

Why does the car park ticket machine not accept my season ticket?

Answer

The barcode on your season ticket may be damaged or the ticket may have been coded wrongly. Pease approach our staff at the Service Centre or ConferenceCenter "Hanse".

I left my season ticket at home! My data and photo are stored in your system. Can I enter the Park without the ticket?

Answer

The season ticket is your personal entrance ticket. Our Park Rules (General Terms and Conditions) set forth that guests must present a valid admission ticket to be allowed entrance to the Park premises and retain it at all times while they are in the Park. If you have lost or forgotten your season ticket, please go to our Service Centre located to the right of the Holstentor.

Why do children not get free parking on their season ticket?

Answer

Complimentary parking is available to guests over 18 years only as you must be at least 18 years old to drive a vehicle. However, you can use the short-term parking area at the coach car park to drop off your children if you do not plan to visit the Park with them.

Why can I not transfer my season ticket to other family members/companions?

Answer

Your season ticket is your personal ID and exclusive admission ticket to HANSA-PARK.

Why is the season ticket not valid from July to July for example?

Answer

The Park‘s season always is the period from March/April to October and that’s the period our season tickets are valid in. For reasons of equal treatment we can, unfortunately, not issue season tickets valid from July to July as we cannot guarantee the same low ticket price for the next season.

I have renewed my season ticket and would like to benefit from your collaboration partner programme. What should I do?

Answer

As a season ticket holder you enjoy various benefits from some of our collaboration partners. Simply go to my.hansapark.de and check your “Area reserved for Season Ticket Holders” to print your personal discount vouchers. Present the discount voucher and your valid HANSA-PARK season ticket at the box office of the companies listed as partners.

Make sure that the number of your valid season ticket is linked to your account. To check if this is the case, log in to your account at my.hansapark.de and click the "My Season Tickets" menu item. If your valid season ticket is not displayed here, enter the required data in the mask to link your season ticket to your account. You should now be directed to the area reserved for season ticket holders, where you can print out the discount vouchers.

By the way: Apart from your own season ticket you can also assign your family members’ season tickets to your account. This way you can print out the discount vouchers you want to use for the whole family.

Please note that it is not sufficient to only present your currently valid 2018 season ticket at the box offices of our partners! You must also present the respective discount voucher. If you are not able to visit our website, our Service Centre staff will be happy to print out for you the discount vouchers you would like to use. Simply show them your season ticket/s.

How do I assign other season tickets under my login to print out discount vouchers for their holders?

Answer

In order to benefit from our collaboration partner programme, each season ticket holder must present his/her currently valid season ticket as well as the respective discount voucher. You can log in to your account and print out the discount vouchers at any time. In other words, not every season ticket holder must be registered as user in the area reserved for season ticket holders. Log in to my.hansapark.de to assign other season tickets to your account. Just go to “My Hansapark - My Season Tickets” and follow the menu steps under “Link Season Ticket”. After you have established the link, the system will display a list of the respective season tickets as well as the “Discount Voucher” button. Click on “Discount Voucher” to be directed to the list of our collaboration partners. Choose your discount vouchers and print them out for each season ticket.

Why do I need a discount voucher to benefit from the collaboration partner programme?

Answer

Our collaboration partners’ special offers are only available to holders of season tickets valid in the current season. To enable our partners to identify those entitled to their special offer, you must log in to our website - my.hansapark.de -, go to “Area reserved for Season Ticket Holders”, print out your personal discount voucher and present it together with your valid HANSA-PARK season ticket at our partners’ box office.

Note that it is not sufficient to only present your currently valid 2018 season ticket at the box offices of our partners! This applies irrespective of what is printed on your season ticket (also applies for 2018 season tickets). If you are not able to visit our website, our Service Centre staff will be happy to print out for you the vouchers you would like to have. Simply show them your season ticket/s.

Useful to know: To protect the environment HANSA-PARK offers season ticket holders the option to renew their existing season tickets. Thus the year printed on the season ticket is not necessarily the same as the year of validity. The discount voucher provides our partners with proof that the season ticket is indeed valid and on top, the staff at the box office can keep it. How do I log in to the area reserved for season ticket holders?

Answer

In a first step, please enter your e-mail address if you have not already done so when you placed an order via the internet.
hen go to "My Hansapark" on our website - my.hansapark.de - where you can register with us by providing your e-mail address and a password of your choice. You will then be sent an e-mail with a link. Click on the link to activate your registration.
By linking your season ticket number (starting with Jki....) you will receive access to the area reserved for season ticket holders.

I got an error message when I tried to log in to the area reserved for season ticket holders. What should I do?

Answer

Make sure that the season ticket number of your valid season ticket is linked to your account. To check if this is the case, log in to my.hansapark.de go to "My Hansapark" and click the "My Season Tickets" menu item.
If your valid season ticket is not displayed here, enter the required data in the mask to link your season ticket to your account. You should now be directed to the area reserved for season ticket holders, where you can print out the discount vouchers.

My initial registration attempt failed. What should I do?

Answer

Problems may sometimes occur when users try to log in to the area reserved for season ticket holders, whose e-mail address has not been properly stored in our system. Call our service hotline on +49 (0) 4563/474-280 and we will help you to upload your e-mail address. After that you will be able to log in to the area reserved for season ticket holders.

What happens after I have bought my season ticket online?

Answer

If you bought a season ticket: The e-mail payment confirmation contains your personal season ticket voucher. When you visit the Park, please have the voucher available to allow us to issue your season ticket. After that you can enter the Park.

Note: The barcode can only be scanned once. It cannot be used again.
If you renewed your season ticket: Once we have received your payment, your current season ticket will continue to be valid. Note: The car park ticket machines can now read barcodes. Our tip: Approach us and we will issue a new season ticket for you free of charge.

I want to buy a new season ticket but I have forgotten my old season ticket number. Can I get it from you?

Contact us if you no longer have your season ticket number available. We will be pleased to help you.

I want to buy one or more season ticket/s and the persons I want to buy them for already had a season ticket last year. What should I do?

Answer

Use the "Renew Season Ticket(s)" menu item and add the persons you want to buy the season tickets for under this order. Enter all available season ticket numbers in the respective fields and add the dates of birth of the season ticket holders. When you enter the data, make sure to enter the correct old season ticket number. Possible error sources are I (i) instead of 1 or L and/or the number 0 instead of the capital letter O. Season tickets always start with JK, followed by another letter; the combination after that contains numbers from 0-9 and letters from A-F. All other characters are invalid here.

I already have a season ticket. Now I want to buy tickets for persons who did not have any season tickets last year. What should I do?

Answer

Under the "Renew Season Ticket(s)" menu item enter your season ticket number to log in. Then go to the "Buy Season Ticket(s)" menu item to enter the new season tickets. Click the "Next" button to add the season tickets to your shopping basket.

Now click the "Renew Season Ticket(s)" menu item again. The system will display a list of the newly entered names under “Tickets Added”. Simply follow the menu prompts and complete your purchase.

Only season tickets whose holders did not have to replace their photo will be sent by post. New customers will be issued a season ticket with a digital photo at the Park when they visit us for the first time. So you will not be charged the postage fees twice.

I want to buy a new season ticket but my address or surname has changed.

Answer

Enter your contact data as usual in the order form. Based on the season ticket number the system will find your data and we can change it. Please use the contact form to advise us of the changes you wish to have made. You can also approach our staff at the Service Centre when you next visit the Park and inform them about your change of address/name.

After processing the payment my system crashed. Have you received my payment?

Why have I not received any payment confirmation? How will I know whether you have received my payment?

Answer

Before you send your order, please check whether your e-mail address is correct or your e-mail folder is full because then the payment confirmation will not reach you. Call our service hotline on +49 (0) 4563/474-280. We will be pleased to help you and answer any questions you may have.

Is it secure to buy HANSA-PARK season tickets online?

Answer

The shop payment page that captures your bank details and/or credit card details is provided by B+S Card Service. B+S belongs to Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe that draws on over 20 years of experience in processing cashless payments. The service provider has always adhered to extremely high security standards. In April 2009 it was fully certified to PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), a standard that sets forth a range of binding requirements to protect the personal information of card holders. To be certified companies that store, transmit or process credit card transactions must comply with the standard.

Providing maximum security is of utmost priority to us and our service provider.
Payment by credit card - HANSA-PARK has decided to use the "Verified by Visa" (VbV) and "MasterCard SecureCode" (MSC) security services to protect your transactions. The programmes use an additional identification process to confirm the authenticity of card holders and protects against unauthorized use of your credit card when shopping online.

Payment by GiroPay - When you enter your IBAN on our shop payment page, you will be redirected to the homepage of your bank via a secure online connection. After you have entered your login name and PIN, the system will display a pre-completed online payment form that cannot be changed. You complete the payment process by entering a valid TAN. GiroPay is the only online payment method authorised by banks and saving banks.
