Family and Work – Work and Family

Familie und Beruf Ostholstein gGmbH together with Lebenshilfe Ostholstein e.V. and Kinderschutzbund Kreisverband Ostholstein e.V. initiated and established a co-ordination office that provides emergency services for children up to 14 years of age to promote work-life balance. As a family-led enterprise HANSA-PARK has given special support to this project.

Since 1 October 2021 the charitable organisations, Beruf und Familie im HanseBelt and Familie und Beruf Ostholstein, have been sailing under one flag. Together they stay the course in everything revolving around child and senior citizen care and provide support to families wherever needed.

Landesfeuerwehrverband Schleswig-Holstein e.V. [State Fire Brigade Association]

Youth fire brigade members are the future firefighters of the voluntary fire brigades. The youth departments of the fire brigades teach up-and-coming firefighters about social commitment and help them to build the skills or experiences needed for personal growth. To encourage that and get more young people to join the firefighting service, HANSA-PARK supports the LFV SH youth fire brigade’s campaign “Stay with us”.
In particular HANSA-PARK sponsors the training of voluntary fire brigade management staff. In the seminars young people learn how to address their team’s needs and motivate them.
Moreover, HANSA-PARK has been hosting the annual Youth Fire Brigade Special-Event Day - a joint project by HANSA-PARK and Landesfeuerwehrverband Schleswig-Holstein under the auspices of Schleswig Holstein’s minister president –since 2005.
