4 years in a row: HANSA-PARK once again awarded the Germany's Best in Sustainability Seal!

When it comes to sustainability, HANSA-PARK belongs to an illustrious circle:  For the fourth consecutive year the Park has been awarded the Germany's Best in Sustainability Seal. Only very few businesses ever achieve that feat.

Deutschland Test und Focus Money asked the Institute of Management and Business Surveys (IMWF) to conduct the Germany's Best in Sustainability survey. From 01 May 2022 to 30 April 2023 some 19,600 brands and businesses as well as some 4 million comments were analysed and evaluated.

The survey was conducted to rate the high ecological, economic and social responsibility today’s businesses have towards future generations. It has become increasingly important to many customers that businesses acknowledge and take that responsibility seriously. Sustainability plays an ever greater role in purchase decisions. The above survey takes account of that; customers were asked to relay their personal sustainability experiences with businesses through comments.

The most recent sustainability survey conducted by Focus Money put family-managed HANSA-PARK highest in this year’s German amusement park ranking, with the Park scoring 100 out of 100 points. It is the second time that the Park has taken the top spot on the amusement park rostrum since 2020.

“We and our HANSA-PARK ‘happy maker’ team are particularly thrilled about the ranking because it clearly shows that it didn’t go unnoticed with our guests just how important sustainability is to the Park and its employees. To receive that award for the fourth consecutive time is testament to the holistic, long-term social, economic and ecological concept we have put in place and our motivation to stay the course,” says Christoph Andreas Leicht, managing shareholder of HANSA-PARK.

Don’t miss the Summer Season Blooms at HANSA-PARK!

HANSA-PARK offers a lot more than unique ride attractions. Just look at the Park’s summer flowers - they have put on their prettiest dresses in the most vibrant colours that these weeks and months smile at visitors and leave them with a happy feeling.

Our gardeners planted 100,000 summer plants of more than 80 species, including hydrangeas, verbena, lavender, astilbes, allium, roses, and lots and lots more.

HANSA-PARK’s gardeners have created a sea of colours that brilliantly accentuate the lovingly designed theme worlds. At the entrance area in front of the city house façades guests are greeted by red and white flowers - the colours of the Hanseatic League whose flags had been white and red since its early days.

Right behind the entrance area, next to the Park Train station, the red and white is interspersed with blue that makes Schleswig-Holstein’s colours complete.

The sea of colours at the Enchanting Britain theme world is picked up in our gardens that feature our very own tartan in purple and green created by over 100 rhododendrons, thousands of ferns, various types of moss and numerous ground-cover plants. The walls of our Nessie Castle are covered by beautifully gnarled wine and in the courtyard, a castle garden with allium, cranesbills (geranium), lavender, peonies, bellflowers, lupins, hollyhocks, hydrangeas, various grasses and, of course, common ivy and clematis is waiting to be enjoyed.

And then there’s our Flower Magic Boat Tour that comes along in the main colours of the Old-Time Fun Fair (blue/red/yellow and white) - a marvellous testament to our gardeners’ skills. Visitors to HANSA-PARK won’t know where to look first, the sea of flowers is so big, so beautiful that one visit will never be enough to take it all in.

The Old-Time Fun Fair comes alive with little olive trees, laurel, box trees, carnations, roses, guelder roses, allium, astilbes, lupins, hollyhocks and coral bells. Störtebeker's Sea Raid takes you into the Realms of the North where you’ll find a range of dwarf Siberian pines, blueberries and juniper.

Our gardeners not only have the proverbial ‘green thumb’, they also care for the environment. To protect the insects, they have designed and planted a lot of perennial flower beds.

The way we see it? The Summer Season Blooms alone would be worth a visit to HANSA-PARK: 46 hectares filled with the best landscaping has to offer is not something you’ll easily find elsewhere. And if, on top, it comes with 41 ride attractions - of which a full seven are rollercoasters - four live shows, a high-rope garden which is included in the entrance price, a staggering variety of food and drinks and, of course, the unique world of the Hanseatic League in Europe, you have umpteen reasons to visit HANSA-PARK during the brilliant summer flower period from July 1st through September 15th.

The travel experts have decided: HANSA-PARK is Germany’s second-best amusement park!

In an amusement park survey conducted in 2023 the travel experts of the Travelcircus booking platform rated Germany’s 45 most popular amusement parks. 25 parks made the ranking of Germany’s best amusement parks in 2023.

The ranking is based on five indicators: price-performance ratio, visitor ratings, popularity, fun factor for each age and Instagram representing guests’ interaction in social media. The maximum number of points that can be achieved in each category is 5.

At 21.30 of 25 possible points HANSA-PARK garnered 2nd place.

HANSA-PARK ranks 7th when it comes to entrance ticket prices.

As part of the ranking Travelcircus awarded HANSA-PARK additional ‘tops’: Top Rollercoaster, Top Water Attractions and Top Instagram.

Managing Director Andreas Leicht is especially happy for HANSA-PARK’s ‘happy maker’ team - in other words all employees of HANSA-PARK - who have a big share in the rating awarded by the Travelcircus experts:

“It’s in our DNA to make constant changes and improvements for our guests. We invest in HANSE and high tech.  We live responsibility and never cease to be committed. We keep traditions alive without foregoing the benefits of digital technology. All of us are so happy about the Travelcircus amusement park rating, which has continually improved over the years. It shows that our efforts are appreciated.”

“Highest Quality” certificate and First Place in the amusement park ranking for HANSA-PARK!

"Hightest Quality" certificate for HANSA-PARK!

Be it the usefulness of a product or the quality of a service, quality is an indispensable corporate success factor. It also plays a role when it comes to how customers perceive a company and features heavily in any purchase decision. The more exchangeable the products and services in a fiercely competitive environment are, the truer this is.

On behalf of the F.A.Z.-Institute the Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF) carried out a study this year that analyses corporate quality. Over 19,000 companies were examined and data from more than 100 million online sources were collected based on the social listening procedure. In addition, the institute evaluated a comprehensive online questionnaire.

According to the IMWF, “Product and service quality, which includes service aspects such as ‘easily reachable’ and ‘highly competent’ as well as unbureaucratic and fast claim processing, is of great significance to companies. If they manage to convince customers in these areas, customers may be willing to pay more readily [for their services].”

Only two German theme and leisure parks have received an award in the amusement park ranking. One of them was HANSA-PARK in Sierksdorf that scored 100 points - the highest possible score - and took 1st place, followed by Europapark in Rust that scored 74.5 points.

“We are enormously proud of having been awarded the Highest Quality certificate. There is hardly any better reward for our efforts to advance in all directions, and it shows that our understanding of quality is shared by our customers,” says Christoph Andreas Leicht, Managing Shareholder of HANSA-PARK.
