The Park’s Surrounding Area
You would like to work for HANSA-PARK and wonder if you would like living on the Bay of Lübeck?
Germany’s only event and theme park by the sea is located where the highest of water quality pairs up with the finest of sand beaches, directly on the Bay of Lübeck. The Park’s surrounding area offers plenty to see and do.
Neustadt, Pelzerhaken and Grömitz as well as Scharbeutz, Timmendorfer Strand and Niendorf are in close vicinity to the Park. From the marina in Neustadt and the fishing harbour in Niendorf to the countless shops and excellent restaurants along the bay - there’s something for everyone.
Or you can travel from the coast to Holsteinische Schweiz, a beautiful lake district where you can hike, bicycle or go canoeing. If you don’t want to swim in the sea, take a plunge in one of Schleswig Holstein‘s many lakes.
You’ll find everything you need to meet your daily shopping and other requirements close to HANSA-PARK. There are plenty of medical practitioners around and the transport links are very good. It doesn’t take long to get to Lübeck, the Queen of the Hanseatic League, which is just 30 km away. The world heritage site is home to one of the most beautiful old towns in the world. From Sierksdorf a trunk road [Bundesstraße] will take you to the federal state’s capital, Kiel (about 60 km). And it takes roughly an hour by car to visit the Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
Neighbouring Denmark is within a 2 to 3-hour drive by car.
