2013: Construction phase VI

Lübeck, Copenhagen, Bremen, Frankfurt am Main, Goslar and Nuremberg

In 2013, HANSA-PARK will reveal the new look of its entrance area. On its left side, the Holstentor will be flanked by a large new section that features the Hanseatic and trading cities of Lübeck, Copenhagen, Bremen, Frankfurt am Main, Goslar and Nuremberg. Though Frankfurt am Main and Nuremberg were no Hanseatic cities, they played an important role given their location along the Hanseatic League’s central trade routes to South Europe that were used to get merchandise from Venice, Genoa, Barcelona and Lisbon to the North.

The unique atmosphere of an historical, international Hanseatic city unrivalled in Germany will enchant all our guests the moment they enter the park.
